Sustainable events … it seems everyone is talking about them, but how many are really doing anything about it?

If you’re in the camp of “We’d like to, but where do we start?” then here are some excellent resources to give you practical ideas. First, the Copenhagen CVB offers an excellent checklist on their website. From transportation to food to the venue itself, there are questions you can ask your suppliers to see how “green” they truly are.

And then there’s the Green Meetings Ninja blog. They have helpful posts on everything from food to waste management, but their Sustainable Events Tips series is full of thought-provoking ideas. Here’s just a sample:
