Virtual as bridge to the future

Lately I keep hearing the argument that virtual can never replace in-person events, so why spend so much effort on them?

Well … spoiler alert! Face-to-face events won’t be coming back on a big scale the moment we get vaccinated. Instead, it will be a slow ramp-up to pre-pandemic events … and honestly, why do we want to go back to exactly where we were?

What if instead we use what we learned in 2020 to reinvent events for 2021 and beyond?
