Way back in 1999, I decided to submit a holiday to Chase’s Calendar of Events – Build a Better Trade Show Image Week – and it’s been celebrated the third week of February ever since. Each year it’s fun to see how people are talking about it in social media.
This year, we’re celebrating with a couple of special events.
During our Virtual Lunch on Tuesday, we’re changing things up with a fun and different format! You’ll hear from several industry friends sharing why they love trade shows. Of course, you can contribute why you love trade shows in the comments as well. Here’s where you’ll find links so you can watch on your favorite platform.
Then on Wednesday, Rich Vallaster (the “Trade Show Wonk”) and I will be hosting a new twist on ExpoChat – this time on Twitter Spaces, their new audio feature that’s similar to Clubhouse. The great part about Spaces is that anyone can listen in (although in order to unmute and come “on stage” you’ll need to join from your iPhone or Android). Our primary topic will be “The Future of Trade Shows,” but if it’s like other audio chats I’ve sat in on lately, you never know where the conversation may take us! Here’s the link to listen or join in the chat. And in case this is all new to you, I’ve included a couple of quick video tutorials below on how to join using your desktop or on your phone.
